🧘♀️ Special Treat This Month: Restorative Yoga for the Beautifully Burnt Out (Especially If You’re Recently Unemployed)
Because you don’t have to earn rest — and especially not right now.
Hey friends —
This month, I’m opening up our signature 90-minute Restorative Yoga session to everyone in my Substack community — free and paid subscribers alike.
Why?
Because if you’ve recently lost a job, been let go, had your hours cut, or walked away from work that was breaking your spirit — you need a place to land. A soft one. A quiet one. A floor, some blankets, and no expectations.
This practice is a love letter to the in-between — the uncertain, unstructured, deeply human space between what was and what’s next.
🗓️ Restorative Yoga for the Recently Unemployed + Radically Tired
Saturday, May 31
8 a.m. CT / 9 a.m. ET
On Zoom ⎹ Register
What to expect:
🧘 Gentle movement (you can stay in your chair or lie on the floor)
📝 Reflection + journaling prompts for whatever’s swirling in your brain
🛏️ Long, supported rest in poses using pillows and blankets
🙃 No cameras or talking required. Pajamas? Highly recommended.
What to bring:
2 pillows
2 blankets
Comfy clothes
A notebook (if you like to write)
Your beautiful, tired, uncertain self
This is your time to do nothing on purpose — to be held, even virtually, in a space that says:
You don’t have to hustle your way into healing.
I made this one donation-based because rest isn’t a luxury, it’s a right.
With care, compassion, and a whole lot of blankets,
Nicole
P.S. Know someone else who’s navigating a layoff, career pause, or burnout spiral? Forward this their way. No questions, no pressure — just an open invitation to rest.
